Companies enable creation of best-of-breed wireless video surveillance solutions to economically enhance public safety

Products from these new Tropos MetroMesh Solution Partners have demonstrated interoperability with Tropos MetroMesh networks, enabling metro-scale wireless video surveillance solutions for public safety agencies. Wireless video surveillance installations have a proven track record of improving public safety.

The new Tropos MetroMesh Solution Program participants focused on video surveillance are:

• Sony Electronics, who will offer a wide selection of MPEG and JPEG compression-based IP security video cameras from their IPELA® line for integration into Tropos' metro-scale Wi-Fi mesh network systems, offering remote surveillance and comprehensive, turn-key solutions for end users.
